  “Now it’s her turn,” Chad said, moving from the center of the bed to the side. “You can have the bottom half of her. I’ll take the top half. I bet you’ve never had two mouths on you at once, have you?” He laughed.

  Whitney lay on the bed and parted her legs for me. She was so wet that I imagine she would have been down for just about anything. As I tasted her sweet aroma, I thought about how lucky I was to be living the fantasy that most guys just watched on their computer screens.

  I hadn’t either. It was, by far, the most magnificent sexual experience I had ever had in my entire life. Weirdly enough, I didn’t even mind that it was shared with my best friend and the girl I was falling head over heels for.

  Whitney had a look on her face that I could only describe as perfectly content. I was worried that she would be too much of a prude to go through with it and enjoy herself, but I think she was even less inhibited than Chad and me. For such a respectable young woman, she was an absolute freak in the sheets. It only endeared me to her even more.

  After we showered off, we all climbed into the king-sized bed together, with Whitney in the middle. I might have suggested a round two, but I fell asleep almost instantly from a combination of too much champagne and the best sex of my life.

  Chapter Eleven

  Chad

  I woke up the morning after the wedding feeling pretty great, all things considered. It was early and the sun was just coming up over the horizon, but I was in bed next to the girl I liked. More importantly, she had backed closer to me in the middle of the night and picked up my hand to drape around her. We spooned for the rest of the night, Ted completely unaware of this.

  “Good morning, stepsister,” I hummed in her ear, rousing her from her slumber.

  “Ugh,” she groaned. “Don’t make it sound so creepy. How about ‘friend whose parent is married to mine’?”

  “That’s much too complicated,” I said, rolling over to find my underwear. “I’ll stick to stepsister.”

  “Are you going to the house for brunch today?” she asked softly as she got up from the bed.

  “I told my dad I would probably be too hung over to attend. He expects this sort of thing from me. Always the disappointment, I am.”

  She giggled. I wonder if she was always the golden child. She certainly had grown into the golden adult. However, last night, I saw a side of her that I never expected to see.

  “In that case,” she said, fastening her bra, “I’m going to skip, too. I think I’ve had enough family time for a while. Besides, I see everyone at the hospital every day. They can never say that I don’t visit enough.”

  I nodded. I was thankful that my dad got me the job at the hospital, but I wondered how my life would be different if I didn’t have to rely on him for anything. But, if I hadn’t asked him for a job, then I wouldn’t have met Whitney at the right time, so maybe it all worked out for the best.

  “Is he awake yet?” I asked, pointing at Ted. Whitney went over to his side of the bed, gently leaned over, and kissed him on the cheek. He hardly stirred.

  “No, he’s still out,” she whispered.

  “I think you tired the poor guy out last night,” I joked. “Did you have a good time?”

  She grinned but bit her lip to hide her satisfaction. “I still can’t believe I had a threesome with you guys.”

  “But you enjoyed it, didn’t you?” I pried.

  She giggled. “It was pretty incredible.”

  “See? I don’t get why people get so riled up over sex. It doesn’t always have to mean something more than rubbing up on someone you’re attracted to. There’s nothing wrong about wanting to feel pleasure and make a connection with people you like.”

  “I’ll agree to it now, but I assure you, if anyone else knew what we did last night, they’d probably be horrified.”

  “No one has to know,” I said reassuringly. “Besides, what happened will stay between the three of us. Who knows? Maybe we’ll do this again sometime.”

  She smiled kindly. “I don’t know,” she said. “I think this is something that only happens on special occasions. If we did it often, wouldn’t it just get old and boring?”

  I paused for a minute, thinking it over. “I don’t think so,” I concluded. “I don’t think anyone could get tired of you. I certainly couldn’t.”

  She blushed. “Well, I don’t know if we should do this again,” she said, gesturing between the two of us. “We work together and our parents are married now. It’ll get too messy. I think we’ve gotten it out of our systems, though.”

  “We’ll see about that,” I scoffed. There was no way she wouldn’t come back to me, begging for more. I wasn’t even concerned about that. She wanted me as much as I wanted her.

  Before I left the hotel room, I gave her one final kiss. “Have fun taking care of your boyfriend.” I chuckled. “He becomes a child when he’s hung over and not feeling well.”

  She smiled. “Then he’s lucky to have had you as a nurse all of these years.”

  I winked and grabbed my tuxedo jacket and phone, hoping to sneak out of the hotel before any of my dad’s guests spotted me.

  When I got home, I flopped down on my bed and pulled my phone from my pocket. This little device was now worth more to me than I ever thoug
ht possible. Little did the other two know, but I had taken pictures and videos of the entire thing.

  I’m not exactly sure where the idea to document it all came from, but once it popped into my perverted brain, I couldn’t shake it. It felt less like voyeurism and more like art. Whitney’s body was a masterpiece, so it was only fitting that I got it all on camera.

  Of course, I was only going to use it for my own entertainment—I wasn’t a creep. During my alone time, this would be even better than scouring the Internet for something that worked for me. As I learned last night, what we did really got me going.

  I was still pretty exhausted from making love all night, and my eyelids felt heavy. I wanted to watch my footage a few times, but my sleepiness was making it impossible. I must have drifted off, because the next thing I knew, Whitney was standing at the foot of my bed.

  “What are you doing here?” I asked.

  “I had to come see you.”

  “Where’s Ted?”

  “At home. I didn’t tell him I was coming here.”

  I raised my eyebrows. “You couldn’t get enough, could you?”

  She grinned. “I couldn’t. I want you so badly.”

  “Come here,” I beckoned. She walked toward me, pulling more clothes off the closer she got. She crawled onto my bed and I quickly wrapped my arms around her to give her a big kiss. When I pulled away, it was Ted in my arms, shoving me away.

  I woke with a start, the weird dream still fresh in my mind.

  I wiped the clammy sweat from my brow and rolled over in bed. The pictures in my phone were haunting me, probably because I was being selfish by keeping them all to myself. I rubbed my blurry eyes and selected all the pictures and videos and sent them to Ted. Then I fell asleep and thankfully, had a dreamless nap.

  When I woke up again, it was because Ted was calling me.

  “What’s up?” I answered in a raspy voice. “Did you enjoy the videos?”

  “What videos? I’m supposed to remind you to return your tux to the rental shop by four. Otherwise, your dad has to pay an extra day. Do you remember having this discussion yesterday?”

  “Oh, yeah,” I muttered. “I’ll do that later. Thanks for the reminder.”

  “No problem. I’ll talk to you later.”

  “Talk to you—wait,” I added before saying goodbye. “How are you not either appreciative or creeped out by the videos? I thought you might find them as useful as I have.”

  “I literally have no idea what you’re talking about.”

  “I sent them to you this morning when I got home.”

  “I’ve had my phone on me all day. I haven’t gotten any texts from you.”

  I blinked. It was like I could hear his words, but they weren’t clicking in my brain.

  “Maybe that was in a dream. I did have a pretty weird dream during my nap. Let me check.”

  I flipped through my sent messages. “Yeah, here it is. Twelve nineteen, sent message to—Tessa?”

  “Who’s Tessa?”

  I felt dizzy, like my bed was spinning. This was worse than sending a sexy text massage to your boss or accidentally talking shit about someone to that person. I just sent pornography, featuring me, to the wrong person.

  “Oh my God,” I cried. “I accidentally sent it to one of the nurses. No, not just one of the nurses—the gossipiest of the nurses.”

  “What’s the big deal?”

  “No, you don’t fucking understand,” I shouted. “Those videos were very private. No one besides you or Whitney, should have ever seen them.”

  Ted was silent.

  “Are you still there? Ted? Oh, shit, I really fucked up.”

  “I’m here,” he said in such a low voice, I could hardly hear him. “I—I think I know what you’re talking about. I saw you taking pictures of us. I saw you taking a picture of Whitney going down on me.”

  I let out a strangled laugh. “That’s not even the half of it! It wasn’t just a picture, Ted. I took videos—lots of videos. I’m in them too. It’s much worse that just a blowjob.”

  “How much of what we did was recorded?”

  “Pretty much all of it.”

  “Shit,” Ted groaned. “Can you tell it’s us in the video?”

  “Let me send it to you. I’ll double check to make sure it’s actually you this time.”

  I sent the videos and waited. When I heard the noises, I knew that he was watching.

  “Holy shit,” he gasped. “You’re telling me that your whole workplace is going to see this? You’ll never work in that hospital again.”

  “Maybe she has a new phone number and didn’t see it. I sent it over an hour ago and I haven’t received a response. You would think that I would have at least gotten a call from the police.”

  “Yeah, you’re probably right. I wouldn’t worry about it.”

  I nodded, trying to reassure myself. It was such a horrible thought that it couldn’t possibly be true.

  “I can’t believe you filmed this,” Ted said.

  “But it’s pretty great, right?”

  “Yeah,” he conceded. “But that’s still pretty fucked up.”

  “Don’t lie, you’re totally going to jack off to it later.”

  “Probably. Do we tell Whitney about this?”

  “I don’t think that’s a good idea,” I said. “Do you?”

  “I don’t want to tell her. Last night was crazy, wasn’t it?”

  “It was. Has Whitney said anything about me since I left?”

  “About you? I don’t think so. We had sex again and ordered room service before I took her home. That girl has an extraordinary sexual appetite, and I hope she never gets enough.”

  I didn’t want to hear this. Frankly, if it didn’t involve me, I wasn’t interested.

  “I’m going to let you go now. I’ll talk to you later.”

  I hung up the phone and tossed it across the room. I knew that there was a chance I had just made the biggest mistake in my professional life that had nothing to do with my patients. But, whenever faced with a potential disaster, I always just ignored it. I had a way of tricking my brain into not freaking out about things I should probably be freaking out about. It was just what I did.

  Maybe I’d go to the hospital tomorrow and it would be completely fine. Whitney would probably be awkward around me, but then she’d be her normal self. Everything would be just fine and I could continue to sleep with her whenever the opportunity arose.

  The only thing that troubled me now was that Whitney was having sex with Ted while I was away. I was really hoping she would have more interest in me.

  How could I complain, though? I got everything I wanted. Now, I just had to wait to see how things played out in our little love triangle.

  Chapter Twelve

  Whitney

  Originally, I had planned to go home immediately after the wedding reception and go to bed. I had hoped that Ted would maybe join me for a few hours, but what actually transpired was completely unexpected. I really couldn’t have imagined that if I tried.

  Instead, it was nearly noon and I was just getting back to my house. My hair and make up were a complete mess, so I threw on a pair of gigantic sunglasses in case someone saw me. This was my first “walk of shame” and it felt a little scandalous. If others knew about what I had done with Ted and Chad, I would probably have to change my name and move to a new town!

  There was no way in hell I was going to tell anyone about the threesome, with one exception. When I opened the door, Maria was sitting on the couch, facing toward me as if she were a parent waiting for their teenager to get home.

  “I thought you were coming home last night,” she said, her tone slightly accusational but with a smile on her face.

  “I’m sorry,” I said, tossing my bag on the kitchen table. “I was going to text you to tell you, but then things happened and I totally forgot.”

  “What kind of things?”

  I bit my lip. I knew it wasn’t something to share, but
I was dying to talk about it, perhaps for no other reason than to process everything that happened.

  “Did you spend the night with Ted? Spill!”

  “You can’t tell anyone about this,” I said, lowering my voice as if there were others in the house. “I’m serious, no one can know.”

  Her eyes widened. Maria looked absolutely delighted. “Sit down,” she ordered.

  “I’m going to make something to eat first,” I said,

  “No,” she ordered. “Let me. I need to hear this story.”

  “Fine,” I said. “In that case, I’d like some avocado toast and a fried egg. Grab me a sparkling water too, won’t you?”

  I lay on the couch and put my feet up. I was ready to give her all of the juicy details and get it out of my system. Maybe talking about it would purge me of the need to go over the events in my head.

  “Ted surprised me with a hotel room for Valentine’s Day.”

  “Aww,” Maria squealed. “That’s adorable. Meanwhile, I got barfed on by a patient and came home and watched late-night television. But go on, I’m not jealous at all.”

  I playfully rolled my eyes. “He got a really nice suite and there were chocolate covered strawberries and champagne. He really went all out.”

  “So,” Maria said, wiggling her eyebrows, “how was the sex? I seriously can’t believe you went on that many dates without doing the deed. Was it great?”

  I tried to hold back my smile. “You have no idea. I don’t even know where to start.”

  I told Maria the full story in fairly explicit detail. Her mouth gaped open the entire time. I could tell that she was absolutely enthralled, and it felt good to finally be the one with entertaining stories.

  “I can’t believe this,” she said once I finished the story with the morning sex with Ted. “I’m so proud of you.”

  “I’m not sure it’s something to be proud of.” I laughed.

  “Of course it is. There’s no reason a woman our age should feel any shame about something like that. If you enjoyed yourself, then there’s no problem. I’m honestly so jealous of you right now, I can hardly look at you.”
